Leicester City target Osimhen as Vardy’s replacement

Super Eagles striker and Lille of France rave of the moment, Victor Osimhen could find his way in England any time soon as Leicester City are planning an audacious bid for the Nigerian International striker in the Summer transfer window to replace their striker Jamie Vardy, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.
According to the Daily Mail, the Foxes retain an interest in the Lille striker but fear he could be tempted by a move to Italy.
Juventus and Inter Milan are believed to have expressed interest in in signing Osimhen but Brendan Rodgers has particular interest in the young striker.
Leicester’s Premier League rivals Chelsea, Manchester United and Everton are also in the mix.
Rodgers will have to meet Lille’s asking price of around £60million for the 21-year-old Nigeria international.
The striker is a hot property in Europe at the moment with an impressive season in the French Ligue 1 having scored 18 goals in 38 matches in all competitions.
Osimhen is being lined by Leicester to give Vardy competition and possibly replace him.
