The Jigawa State Governor Alhaji Muhammad Abubakar Badaru has ordered for the payment of May salary to all civil servants in the state.
The governor gave the directive Thursday to the Salary and Pension Board to begin the payment from Monday to enable workers prepare for Eid-el fitr celebration.
The Governor however, urged workers to try and observe social distancing especially in the banks while making transaction to prevent further spread of the virus in the state.
He then called on the entire people of Jigawa State to be prayerful against the dreaded corona virus that is ravaging the world especially in this last ten days of Ramadan.
