Ijaw spokesman’s murder: Delta Police arrest two suspects

Delta State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of two suspects in connection with the alleged murder of the National Spokesman of Ijaw Interest Advocate ( Alias Izanzan Camp,), Mr Famous Believe Wonikiri- Ebi
The Police Commissioner in the state, Hafiz Muhammed Inuwah who confirmed this to our correspondent on telephone on Sunday in Asaba, said that the arrest of the suspects was based on intelligence gathering, adding that the police had vowed to get to the root of the matter as manhunt for other suspects currently at large, was in top gear.
While saying that the suspects hailed from Egbema Kingdom in Izon ethnic nationality in Delta State, Inuwah disclosed that the suspects were arrested based on Intelligence gathering by men of the Nigeria Police force Ovwan / Aladja Police Division in Udu Local Government Area, adding” the arrest of the suspects will aid our further investigation”
Sources alleged that there has been issues between the late Ijaw Interest Advocate Spokesman, and some Persons where bizarre threats were issued, and only few days after he was allegedly murdered.
An elder brother of the deceased, Sule Austin Confirmed that the arrest of the two Suspects was a thing of Joy in their family, adding that light was gradually coming out to fish out the Killers in no distant time.
Recall that last Monday evening, unknown gunmen allegedly murdered the Ijaw Interest Advocate Spokesman in Udu Local Government Area of the state,a situation that had generated tension in the area with fear of the unknown but the Police had however assured that the two suspects would be charged to court on completion of investigation.
