Super Falcons attacker Chinasa Uchendu confirms Braga exit

Super Falcons of Nigeria forward, Chinasa Uchendu has confirmed her exit from her former Portuguese club, Sporting Clube de Braga.
The former Braga star revealed that she signed two-year contract with the club which has expired after the cancellation of the Portuguese League due to COVID-19 pandemic.
The Nigeria International scored 6 goals and 14 assists in 18 matches of her debut season to help Braga clinched the league title in 2018.
She parted with record of 13 goals in 36 matches in all competitions for the club.
The former Rivers Angel player who revealed she is a free agent and can join any club of her choice is full of appreciation to Braga coaches, fans and teammates.
In a tweet on Friday, “I want to say a very big thanks to Sporting Clube de Braga for the opportunity to be part of the club, it is an exciting experience.
Thanks to my coaches, teammates, fans and every member of the club.
Thanks for all the memories we made together.”
During the 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations, AWCON, Uchendu only played the final, where she was subbed in 8 minutes before the end of the extra time.
She scored one of the four penalties in the penalty shootout that brought the Nigeria women’s national football team the championship
