Edo guber primary: James Manager heads PDP appeal committee

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has appointed Senator James Manager as the Chairman of the Appeal Panel of the Edo State gubernatorial primaries.
Other members of the panel, which begins sitting today (Monday) are:; Dr Eddy Olafeso, Chief Austin Umah, Brother Emmanuel Ogidi, Chief Barrister GT Kataps, Hon Theophilius Daka Shan, Senator Ibrahim Kazaure, Senator Stella Oduah, Senator Zainab Kure and Lautebtia Mallam, Alh Umar Babangida, Hon Bitrus Tanko and Hon Barr Ajibola Muraina, who is the secretary.
The exercise is scheduled to continue on Monday June 22, 2020 at the NWC HALL, PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja by 12 noon.
The PDP, in a statement yesterday by its National Organising Secretary, Col Austin Akobundu, rtd, reads, “The National Working Committee (NWC) of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has approved the continuation of the screening appeal panel.
“The Committee is mandated to consider appeals arising from the screening of all Aspirants for the upcoming 2020 Governorship Election in Edo State.
“The exercise is scheduled to continue on Monday June 22, 2020 at the NWC HALL, PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja. Time is 12Noon prompt”, it said.
