Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has expressed shock over the death of the Emir of Agaie, Alhaji Muhammad Kudu Abubakar Ubandoma III.

In a statement issued in Abuja by his Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs, Malam Imam Imam, Tambuwal described the deceased as a committed leader who served his people diligently.

He said the late Emir dedicated his time and energy to the pursuit of peace, unity, stability and development of his Kingdom, adding that his death has robbed Niger State and indeed the nation of a bright mind.

While commiserating with the government and people of Niger State over the loss, Tambuwal prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the family and loved ones the fortitude to bear the loss.
