Gov Sule urges taditional rulers to create awareness on COVID-19 pandemic

Nasarawa State Governor Engr Abdullahi Sule has charged traditional rulers in the state to embark on an extensive awareness on COVID19 pandemic by ensuring constant wearing of face mask as well as maintaining social distancing.
The governor who threw the challenge while on an interaction with paramount rulers at the Government House Lafia.
He said that COVID19 is waxing stronger due to non adherence to medical instructions and called for the need for traditional institutions to intensify effort towards combatting the spread.
According to him “I call on you our Royal fathers to talk to your subjects on the danger of COVID-19 pandemic as it is a global issue today wearing of face mask and maintaining social distancing is very significant in curtailing the spread of the dreaded disease.”
“COVID19 is real. Let the campaign be spread to all the nooks and crannies of the state. Your contributions is highly commendable despite the period of COVID19 pandemic” Governor Sule noted.
Also in an interview with the paramount ruler of Kudape chiefdom in Karu LGC of the state Mr Sabo Fyenu said the role played by Governor Sule during COVID-19 from inception was commendable an assured for absolute support from his chiefdom.
