Southern Kaduna: NCPC boss sets to organize peace meeting for peace

The Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) Rev Yakubu Pam has said that a three day peace meeting would be convened in September to seek lasting solutions to the crisis in Southern Kaduna.
He disclosed this at weekend during a condolence visit to the Southern Kaduna Peoples Union at Barnawa, Kaduna state.
The NCPC boss was at the Secretariat of the Union to pay a condolence visit for loss of lives of innocent people of Southern Kaduna following the recent crisis that erupted in the area.
He called on both the Federal and state government to ensure that the perpetrators of the heinous crimes in Southern Kaduna were brought to justice.
Rev. Pam described the current situation in Southern Kaduna as the handiwork of the enemy. He promised to talk to the power that be to fish out those behind the killings.
He cautioned that for peace to be restored in Southern Kaduna all players must be circumspect with their utterances so as not to escalate the fragile situation.
