Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has approved the expansion of the operations and land mass of the Delta State University Teaching Hospital (DELSUTH), Oghara.
The Chief Medical Director of DELSUTH, Oghara, Dr Onome Ogueh disclosed this while playing host to the leadership of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), Delta State Chapter, led by Dr Nwose Ossai at the weekend
Dr Ogueh said that the expansion was predicated on the need to make the hospital serve Deltans and Nigerians in full capacity, saying that presently, hospital’s land size was smaller compared to that of other teaching hospitals.
He thanked Governor Okowa for the approval and added that the process of acquiring more land for the hospital had begun.
