Victor Osimhen marked his first Serie A start with an assist as Napoli thrashed visiting Genoa 6-0 on Sunday in matchday 2 of the Serie A league, Bestchoicesports.com.ng understands
Osimhen provided the assist for Napoli’s second goal scored by Piotr Zielinski on within a minute after restart of the second half.
The former Lille striker played 90 minutes in his second league appearance.
Other scorers for Napoli are Hirving Lozano, who scored two goals, Dries Mertens, Eljif Elmas and Matteo Politano.
Napoli have now won their two opening games, scoring eight goals without conceding and lead the league table on six points.
Osimhen joined the Italian giants from Lille in a reported 71 million UK Pound in July but is yet to mark is Serie A goal but his blistering performances have not be unnoticed by Napoli Manager Genarro Gattuso who described him as a serious guy with huge potentials.
