A reckless truck driver identified as James Kenneth in Umueh community in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State at the weekend, allegedly crushed to death two persons who were guests at a traditional marriage held in the area, while many others were injured.
The driver was said to have lost his brake at the scene of the wedding.
Reports said that the guest victims were seated when they were unfortunately killed with others sustaining degrees of injuries.
Eyewitness, Richard Eko said that the tragic incident which claimed the lives of two persons, has thrown the entire community into mourning , disclosing that the injured ones were in critical condition in the State owned hospital where they are currently admitted for treatment.
But the police commissioner in the State Hafiz Muhammed Inuwah when contacted on telephone said he was not aware of the incident and however promised to get back to our Correspondent.
