By Miriam Humbe

The Executive Secretary/CEO, Ms Yewande Sadiku was at the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) on Monday 19 October 2020 to meet with the Director General.
The visit was to deepen the cordial relationship with the NGF led by Mr Asishana Okauru, (Esq) and explore further institutional cooperation to accelerate investments at the subnational level following the recent publication of the Book of States (BoS) which both agencies collaborated on.
The Executive Secretary, NIPC said that the BoS was only a foundation for other initiatives to support the generation of domestic direct investments (DDI) which will further encourage foreign direct investments (FDI).
The meeting discussed plans to serialize the Book of States in the NIPC Intelligence Newsletter soon to give more visibility to the investment prospects of each State. The meeting also discussed collaboration on reviving moribund stated-owned enterprises, elevating visibility of successful companies and boosting up economic activities in the states.
