Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, has counseled Nigerian students not to allow politicians to use them as thugs in the forthcoming elections.

The governor, who described youths involved in thuggery as citizens that had mortgaged their future and that of nation, said they must allow education and their institutions to impact on them positively.

Ahmed stated this while addressing members of National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) Joint Campus Committee who paid him a solidarity visit as part of their Kwara Unity week celebration recently. He disclosed that his administration is determined to employ many youths before end of this year.
