COVID-19: JGSG directs Civil Servants to resume work

Jigawa State Government has directed Civil Servants on grade level 12 and below to resume work.
This was contained in a statement signed by the State Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila and issued to news men in Dutse the state capital.
According to the statement, “recall that the State Government had ordered Civil Servants on grade level 12 and below to work at home some weeks back. Since then things have been calm and Civil Servants have followed the Covid-19 control protocols”, he stated.
Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila declared that, ‘consequently Civil Servants on grade level 12 and below are directed to return to work from tomorrow 22nd of January, 2021.
He however, explained that all Civil Servants must obey the Covid-19 protocol including use of face masks, social distancing as well as personal hygiene.
He said the decision followed the continued successes recorded in the fight against the second wave of Covid-19 across the State.
