Few days to the commencement of Jigawa lawmaker’s bye – election as announced by the INEC, the Jigawa state government confirmed the death of another lawmaker representing Gwaram federal constituency of Honorable Yuguda Hassan Kila who died at National hospital Abuja.
Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Jigawa State on New Media Auwal D Sankara confirmed the death in a statement and issued to news men in Dutse.
Hon. Hassan Kila Yuguda was born in 1951 and hails from Kila in the Gwaram Local Government Area of Jigawa State, Nigeria.
Until his demise, he represents Gwaram Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.
Meanwhile the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in Jigawa state, Dr Mahmuda Isah said, INEC is ready for Kafin Hausa state lawmaker bye – election on Saturday 6th March,2020.
According to him, as of now, only six political parties contacted INEC on their readiness to participate in the election schedule to take place on next Saturday 6th March, 2021.
He said, the political parties are African Action Congress (AAC), African Democratic Congress (ADC), Action Democratic Party (ADP), All Progressive Congress (APC), Allied Peoples Movement (APM), and People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
