Adamawa govt to conduct house-to-house COVID 19 vaccination

The Adamawa state government has reiterated its commitment to conduct house to house registration of COVID 19 vaccination across the 21 local government arras of the state.
Executive Chairman of the Adamawa state Primary Health Care Development Agency(ADSPHCDA), Dr.Bashir Suleiman disclosed the development in Yola, Wednesday, at a one-day media orientation and engagement meeting on COVID 19 roll out, stressing that media is a critical stakeholder in the exercise.
Dr.Suleiman said the Emergence of COVID 19 pandamic threw the entire globe in to controversy especially the issue regarding the vaccine manufactured to arrest the efficiency of the virus.
He appealed to journalists to promote the vaccination campaign in a positive manner that will serve as tool for changing the narrative as people are having negative notion about it.
“This meeting is strategic to us as an Agency where we will rob our minds with our partners in the media on critical issues pertaining the COVID 19 vaccination.
“Our Agency is rolling out some strategies for more awareness on the exercise so that the general public especially rural people would be equipped with the genuineness of the medication”, Suleiman maintained.
