The Director General Murtala Campaign Organisation (MCO), Yusuf Dangara Gwagwa has debunked the rumour that Hon Usman Murtala Karshi (Yamarayi) has discontinued to aspire for Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) chairmanship.
Addressing mews in Abuja,at a press briefing yesterday in
Gwagwa, he disclosed that Hon Usman Murtala Karshi is still an aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) while debunking rumors.
He said: “The central leadership of the Gwandara nation set up a committee to
select a competent and qualified candidate to aspire and contest for the position of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) chairmanship in the FCT.
“The committee of elders, unanimously agreed on one candidate; that is Hon Usman Murtala Karshi (Yamarayi).
“However, other aspirants were disqualified with the reason best known by the elders. But the fact remains that the Gwandara leadership nationwide only accepted one candidate, Hon Usman Murtala Karshi”,he said.
