Ahead of the 2022 Chairmanship election in Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the former Chairman of the Area Council, Hon. Abubakar Jibrin Giri on Wednesday picked the nomination form of All Progressives Congress (APC) to contest for the Chairmanship position in the area.
Giri was accompanied by the APC supporters/members to the party’s secretariat in Abuja.
It would be recalled that Giri had met with the executives of APC in Gwagwalada before the purchase of the nomination form.
It was also gathered that the former Chairman had consultative meetings with the traditional rulers across the ten political wards in Gwagwalada for his ambition to contest for the chairmanship election.
It was observed that the supporters of Giri were happy for the necessary action taken by the aspirant .
