Redeeming your vows to God key to prosperity, cleric tells Nigerians

The Senior Pastor of the House of Purpose Ministry U/Sunday Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna state, Apostle Yakubu Yusuf has urged Nigerians to continue to pray and fulfil their vows to God for the prosperity of the country.
He made the assertion in a sermon he delivered during the Sunday worship in Kaduna yesterday.
Apostle Yakubu said paying tithes and others vows to God is key to stop the poverty in the land.
Apostle Yakubu who was teaching on the topic “ Connecting to God of Abundance” said where God appears there is Abundance.
Reading from the Book of 2 Corinthians, 8:9, he said people need to start doing things right and be more sincere in serving God, especially fulfilling their vows, saying it is only in doing that, that things will be better and positive..
Apostle Yakubu admonished Nigerians not to lose hope, stressing that the daunting socio-economic challenges, which everybody is experiencing at the moment, is like a wind that must pass away.
He, therefore, urged Nigerians to cultivate the habit of praying, paying their vows which according to him, changes situations and circumstances no matter how complex they may look.
“I urge our leaders not to lose hope, but to rather take a cue from their counterparts in the developed world, by burying their political differences and tackle national issues with the urgency they deserve rather than politicize them.
“Let me also use this opportunity to call on Nigerians, particularly Christians, to continually pray for our nation and all political office holders for God’s grace and wisdom to steer the ship of this nation so that we would arrive at God’s ordained destiny for us. Let us also pray that violence, kidnappings and insurgency will cease in Nigeria because no meaningful development can take place in an atmosphere of violence.”
