Adamawa NUJ declares prayer for kidnapped joaurnalist

The leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Adamawa state chapter has directed its membership in the state to embark on fasting and prayers for the release of its kidnapped member, Mrs Amrah Ahmed Diska.
Recalls that Mrs Diska,an Editor with the Adamawa Broadcasting Cooperation (ABC) Yola, was abducted by suspected kidnappers at her husband’s house at Mbamba community in Yola South Local Government Area on Tuesday.
A statement issued by the secretary of the Union,Fidelis Jockthan on Thursday in Yola,urged its members to engage divine intervention in the matter. noting that the abductors have contacted the family of the victim demanding for N50 million as ransom before her release.
