The flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Hon. Abubukar Jibrin Giri, yesterday met with the party executives at the Gwagwalada party office, where he called on the members to co-operate and support the party in the 2022 chairmanship /councillorship election in the area.
In his speech at the meeting, Giri pleaded with the aggrieved members to work for the victory of the party in 2022, even as he advised party loyalists/members to visit wards to solicit the cooperation of the electorates for the success of the party in 2022.
He said he would continue to relate with the executives of the party both at the local government and ward levels in order to achieve the desired result, even as he donated funds to the party executive members for Sallah celebration.
Addressing the gathering earlier, the Abu campaign Director-General, Alhaji Mohammed Sani Kasim, called for co-operation of every member of the party in 2022.
Also speaking, the chairman of the party in Gwagwalada, Ahmed Baba, charged all the members/supporters to work towards the success of the party in the 2022 election.
Meanwhile, some APC Chairmanship aspirants, ward caretakers, youth leaders, elders of the party and women leaders have vowed to support the APC Chairmanship Candidate in the 2022 election.
