The Niger chapter of NAWOJ held a pray session for God’s intervention in Nigeria, following increase in banditary, kidnapping and insurgency in the country.
The event which held at the Niger NAWOJ Secretariat in Minna, was aimed at bringing women journalists together to pray against banditry, kidnapping, rape and other criminal vices in the country.
Speaking during the prayer, a former Chairperson of NAWOJ Niger state Chapter and Chief Press Secretary to the state Governor, Mrs Mary Noel-Berje expressed concern over the security situation in the country which mostly affect women and children.
She stressed the need for Nigerians to intensify prayers for God’s intervention.
