A resident, Mallam Nasir Umar said the low-key preparation is as a result of the recent insecurity bedeviling the state.
According to him, kidnappers and bandits’ have forced people to the four wall of their room, saying traveling is now things of the past because it is only the living that celebrate.
Another resident, Dinah Dauda attributed the low key preparation to the current economic recession, adding that the economy was not favourable for elaborate celebration.
