Dangote Cement PLC has said that it is the producer of most qualitative cement in the whole Nigeria.
Speaking to newsmen shortly after holding an interactive session with its major customers in Kano yesterday, the Group Sales and Marketing Director of the company, Malam Rabiu Umar has described Dangote cement as the best in terms of quality and effective in the cement market all over the country.
According to Umar, it was the quality of the product that made it to be accepted in many African countries, stressing that only market forces can rightly determine the efficacy of every cement being produced by various cement companies across the country.
He noted that the cement gained wider acceptance in many African countries and it is a clear testimony to the fact that the company is leading other cement companies in the face of competitiveness.
He affirmed that it had even reduced its export derive for the escalating price of cement to be reduced.
He said” our dealers and all our customers across the country have come to appreciate the fact that we are indeed the leading pace-setter in terms of quality brand. it is not true and absolutely not true for one to say that we are lagging behind”.
“What we want our teaming customers to understand is the fact that our production capacity is high and we are second to none in the country. we are producing the best of cement and our acceptability and the wider patronage we are getting across Africa is what had instilled in us the confidence we reposed in whatever we are doing “ he remarked.
“We’ve procured 2000 trucks for distribution of cement to our teeming customers across the Nation. We’ve also put a new line in some our plants in different parts of the country and by so doing, we will be able to produce fifteen thousand tonnes of cement Daily”
He called on the company’s teaming customers to appreciate the fact that all that was being done with the aim of making their businesses strong , formidable and vibrant, stressing however that only market forces can determine what is really on ground.
Rabiu Umar added that Dangote cement is currently operating in ten countries, including Nigeria, Congo, Cameroon, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Tanzania,Senegal, South Africa,and Ethiopia.
Attesting to the quality of Dangote products, a dealer of Dangote cement in Kano Alhaji lawan Badamasi said the Dangote cement is the best so far.
He urged the company to maintain the standard and ensure its availability in nooks and crannies of all parts of the state.
