APC names 7-member C’ttee to screen Anambra guber aspirants

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), Governor Mai Mala Buni, has approved the appointment of a seven-member Screening Committee for the party’s 2021 Anambra governorship aspirants.
A statement issued yesterday by the National Secretary of the APC Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), John James Akpanudoedehe, said the committee is expected to conduct the Screening Exercise in line with the provisions of the party’s Constitution and guidelines for the nomination of candidates.
The Committee members are: Chief Ikechi Emenike, who will serve as the Chairman, Hon. Augustine Utuk, who will serve as the Secretary, Eugene Odo (Member), Ben Angwe (Member), Kemi Nelson (Member), Ahmed Aliyu (Member) and Adeolu Akande (Member).
The statement said the Committee will be inaugurated on Thursday at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja.
