SOKAPU urges President Buhari to declare state of emergency in Kaduna

The Southern Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU) has called on President Muhammadu Buhari and the National Assembly to invoked relevant law and declare State of Emergency in Kaduna state.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Spokesperson of the Union Luka Binniyat and made available to the media in Kaduna yesterday.
The statement stated that it has been proven beyond doubt that Governor Nasir el-Rufai is incapable of ruling Kaduna state without inflicting severe hurt to everything that stands for peace, justice and progress in the state
The Union while reacting to the killing of a student of Kaduna State College Of Education Gidan Waya Kafachan, during a protest over the hike in tuition fees stated that Governor Nasir el-Rufai is beyond reproach and defied every wise counsel on how to reduce tension and crisis in Kaduna state.
