W4CDI visits bomb blast victims

Date:

Women for Change and Development Initiative (W4CDI), an NGO founded by the First Lady, Dame (Dr.) Patience Jonathan, has donated a bus-load of medical supplies to victims of the recent Nyanya bomb blast to show love in this Easter season, which is the reason for the season.

Making the donation at the National Hospital, Abuja, the National Coordinator, W4CDI, Princes Rabi Ibrahim said it was premised on the fact that their supply must have been exhausted considering the huge number of casualties they had to attend to.

The National Coordinator informed that their visit was at the instance of the First Lady who had already visited but felt that her NGO should also contribute in alleviating the sufferings of the victims.

Still speaking, she appealed to the Boko Haram sect to make their grievances known so that amicable resolutions can be sought.
