Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has stressed that party interest should supercede personalities in resolving the crisis in the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP.
PDP Governors on Monday converged in Bauchi State to discuss issues affecting the nation, ranging from security to economy.
But it should be noted that the party is imbroglio in internal crisis.
The crisis is between Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike and the National Chairman of the Party, Uche Secondus.
Speaking with newsmen on arrival from Bauchi State, Governor Ortom averred that this is not the first time the party is engrossed in conflict, but expressed optimism that it will not affect its fortunes in the run off to 2023 election.
“There is nothing wrong. We always have crisis but we always resolve it. We have some of our colleagues who are good in conflict management. It is about the party interest and not personalities”.
