It was an happy moments in the camp of Team Nigeria again as representative in the men’s Shot Put, Chukwuebuka Enekwechi qualified for the final.
The 25-year-old is presently the Africa champion and was also a silver medalists in the 2018 Commonwealth game
The Nigeria star finished in 4th position with a throw of 21.16 behind, America’s Ryan Crousser, Mezud Fezzer (UKR) and Zane Weir (ITa) .
He picked up one of the non-automatic qualifying spot for the final.
The American based thrower will compete against other qualified 11 atheletes in the final slated for Thursday.
