12 injured, 3 vehicles burnt as fire razes filling station in Ogun

No fewer than 12 persons were Easter night injured in a fire that engulfed the Oando filing Station, at Alagbole in Ifo local government area of Ogun state.

The fire which started yesterday night, according to an eye witness also razed two commercial buses with number plates AGL 811 XE and LSR 552 SF, an SUV, which was submerged in water and the entire filling station. The eyewitness, a security operative, Mr. Wasiu Ganiyu, said he first noticed the fire at about 10 p.m yesterday night across the Alagbole Bridge, which is undergoing reconstruction, a project of the state government and a major link road between Ogun and Lagos states.

The fire service operatives who arrived at the seen an hour later could not salvage anything as the entire filling station was engulfed by the inferno.
