The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) commander of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), Mr Musa Ahmadu, has debunked the report carried by some media organizations that one of the members of the task forces was napped and killed by kidnappers in Gwagwalada.
Ahmadu who reacted to the report while speaking to Peoples Daily correspondent in Gwagwalada on Sunday, disclosing that one of their members was crushed to death along Abuja- Abaji express road while coming back from duty post in Chukunku around 5am in the morning.
He charged reporters to always cross-check their facts before going to press, saying that the men of the CJTF are ready to combat crimes in the territory.
He therefore, appealed to newsmen to contact the office of CJTF in Gwagwalada whenever they have an information concerning the task force organization.
The FCT CJTF commander said that his office is open twenty-four hours for useful information and suggestions that will better the security situation in the FCT and Nigeria as a whole.
