The Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Gusau Local Government of Zamfara State, Alhaji Shehu Muhammad yesterday urged the party members in the state to ensure unity among themselves.
Muhammad, who made the call in Gusau while briefing newsmen, said this was necessary to ensure success in coming elections in the country.
He noted that it was only unity, support and cooperation by the members that would make the party to achieve its aims and objectives and called on them to avoid disunity.
The chairman commended members in the state, most especially during the last wards and local government congresses and urged them to continue.
‘’As party leaders, we will continue to support the government’s programmes that are aimed at improving socio-economic transformation of the state.
‘’Our leadership will also support youth and women empowerment, through the provision of employment as well as training them in various trades for them to be self reliant’’. he stressed (NAN)
