The Adamawa State Police Command has rescued an abducted nursing mother with her baby from the custody of a kidnapping syndicate terrorising Adamawa state.
Spokesman of the command, DSP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje disclosed the development in a press release issued in Yola on Wednesday.
He explained that the rescue was made after a gun duel between the police detectives attached to Gombi Division and the suspected kidnappers.
