The United Nations Women Representative to Nigeria and ECOWAS, Ms. Comfort Lamptey has said women are powerful when they come together.
She stated this during the launch of the Nigerian Chapter of the Forum for Women in Film and Television International Network (WIFTI) yesterday.
She said because of this, her organization will continue to support the government to translate international commitment on women’s rights into practice, and into laws and policies.
According to her, WIFTI is a global network dedicated to advancing professional development and achievement for women working in all areas of film, video and other screen-based media.
