A retired Judge of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court of Justice, Hon. Justice Mwada Balami, has said that the Nigeria’s security situation was completely lousy and disappointing.

Balami, who stated this in an interview with People’s Daily Correspondent in his residence in Gwagwalada during the celebration of just concluded Christmas, pointing out that he would no longer hide his feeling on the security challenges facing the country.

His words: “The people are no longer hunting animals again, but human beings. That is the situation we are facing in this country now”.

On his Christmas message, he called on the Christians across the world to be peace-loving people, urging them not to join issues with anybody.

He also appealed to both Christians and Muslims to always accommodate each other for the sake of peace and unity.

“My friend, I keep on telling the people that anybody who is discriminating or fighting in the name of religion is fighting God. It is God who created us to say this man should be a Christian or a Muslim or a Pagan. So, anybody who said he did not like this because of religion or tribe is fighting God”, the retired Judge said.

Speaking on the proliferation of Churches in Nigeria, he said the Clergymen were after money, instead of preaching the truth gospel of Jesus Christ in the Churches, as he pointed out that the clerics had turned the Churches to be a profit oriented outfit.

He noted that Jesus Christ did not purchase a vehicle or build a Church during His life time, saying that even the donkey that was used by Jesus Christ was lent from Somebody.
