West African neighbours Ghana are leaving no stones unturned in their preparation for the two legged World cup playoffs against Nigeria.

Following Black Stars poor run in the just concluded Nations Cup in Cameroon getting a ticket to the world cup in Qatar has been dubbed an achievement that must not be negotiated among many Ghanaians.

Some have even called for the recall of former international and Black Stars Captain Asamoah Gyan to the national team to further beef up the team.

Physical trainer and CEO of Train Like a Pro GH, Totti Laryea has reportedly even offered to train Gyan to regain fitness enough to play against Super Eagles on one hand and possibly at the world Cup in Qatar should the Balck Stars pull a surprise.

The Black Stars have been drawn against the Super Eagles as they vie for one of the five African slots at the World Cup in Qatar later this year.

The first league is slated for Thursday March 24, 2022 at the Cape Coast Stadium in Cape Coast with the second leg for Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja three days later.

The winner of the tie will represent the continent at the world football showpiece which is scheduled to take place from November 21, 2022 to December 18, 2022 .

Gyan who incidentally featured as one of the analysts of the just concluded AFCON returned to Ghana Premier league last season and joined Legon Cities on a one year deal but injuries have forced him to make minimal appearance.
