Group to mobilize 20m youths for 2023 elections

Youth Anti-Corruption Society(YAS) said it is mobilizing 20million Nigerian youths to vote and decide who will govern them in the upcoming 2023 elections .

Speaking at a press briefing recently in Abuja, the Chairman YAS and also Chairman Youth 2023 Project, Comrade Davidson Okliuoya, said the 2023 project aimed at ensuring that elections are free, fair and credible.

“We are mobilizing 20million youths across the country, from states , local government and rural areas. This is because we want them to be much more involved in deciding for their future and things that affects them.

“ They can only do that,if they can all come out massively to use their PVC during the elections. To vote for their right and creditable leaders that can stand for them and their future”, he said.

He revealed that the group has taken a steps towards the project by opening a platform and asking people to join and about 500 people have joined and have registered for their PVC.

“ We will encourage our youths just like we’ve spoken to INEC, they said there will be continuous registration. We urged the youths that have not registered to do in order to vote wisely and make proper choices”.
