NDE disburses N12.5m loan to 238 beneficiaries in Niger

National Directorate of Employment (NDE) in Niger state has disbursed N12.560,000 to 238 beneficiaries of three different categories who have been trained in their areas of specialization.

The State Coordinator Alhaji Abdulmalik Liman stated this at the official flag off of the disbursement in Minna.

He said that out of the number, 228 got hN20,000 each, 7 got N500,000 each while three people got N1.5 million each.

Liman noted that the participants consisted of Micro Enterprises Enhancement Scheme (MEES), Start Your Own Business (SYOB) and Mature People Programme (MPP) aimed at alleviating poverty and create enterprises for Nigerians.

He advised them to make judicious use of the opportunity to be job creator and self reliant so as to be able to repay their loans.
