The Sayawa traditional Chief Gun Zaar, Air Commodore Ishaku Komo (rtd), has charged politician, youths, traditional and religious institutions in the area against any form of political violence ahead of 2015.
The royal leader made the statement weekend while addressing his subjects on the implication of political violence towards economic, political and cultural development of every society.
“My kingdom is not a political party, but a fulcrum of unity among all the existing ethnic groups in the state and I am ready to embrace anybody or group who identifies with my kingdom” said the royal father.
Komo made it clear that it is mandatory for politician and other political groups to identify themselves before the Sayawa kingdom now that political campaigns intensify as a measure to ensure the security of live and properties of the area.
The Gung zaar had charged the youths to be law abiding and be security conscious with a view to identifying any body or groups with questionable habit that is capable of fomenting violence in the area.
He lamented that the choice of political party is a major impediment in the area just as he explained that people should shun their differences and elect a credible, visionary and focused leader who would heal the wounds of people in the area.
Komo cautioned politicians in the area to strictly seek the blessing of Sayawa traditional institutions, being a custodian of the people saying the roles of traditional institution in political development is paramount.
According to the royal father, there is no way politician will win elections when there is no recognition to the traditional institution in every society, being stakeholders in nation building.
