The state Director of National Orientation Agency (NOA) Jigawa State, Mallam Shauibu Karamba has condoled with the Jigawa State Governor, Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar and the people of the State over the loss of lives and property worth millions of naira following the massive flood disaster occasioned by heavy downpour in the state.

Karamba attributed the flood to the effect of climate change which is experienced globally.

He therefore urged the people of Jigawa to see it as a natural disaster, while calling on the government to take up immediate steps to ensure damage is controlled.

The NOA Director also urged citizens to ensure that drainages are cleared to help flow of water

He prayed for Allah SWT to grant eternal rest to the souls of the departed and grant the bereaved families the fortitude to bear the loss.
