PDP Governors hail Ikpeazu over giant strides in Abia State

The Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum (PDP-GF) has thumbed up the Governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu over the way he has brought his vast experience in human resource management and re-orientation, in the last seven years, to build a vibrant workforce to redevelop the State.

The PDP-GF, in a statement yesterday by its Director-General, Hon CID Maduabum, noted that under Governor Ikpeazu ‘s Roads infrastructure and Urban renewal, the first ever flyover in Abia State at Osisioma on Aba-Owerri Road and numerous roads inaugurated by his administration have indeed set the pace for others to follow.

The PDP Governors further observed with happiness that the Kinetic Abia Program, initiated by Ikpeazu, has yielded dividends through the reactivation of Industries, Foreign Direct Investment, SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) funding, Commerce and Cooperatives, Consolidation of power generation, Water provision, Housing, Rural electrification, Education, Health, Youth and Women Empowerment, Agriculture and Security of lives and property.

The PDP-GF, under the Chairmanship of Sokoto State Governor, Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, congratulated Ikpeazu on his emergence as the PDP Senatorial candidate for Abia South zone and highly appreciated the dedication he exhibited at the PDP 2021 National Convention as Member of the National Organizing Convention Committee and Vice Chairman of the Venue and Protocol Committee at the 2022 Special Convention.

The PDP Governors, while further eulogizing Ikpeazu, who clocked 58 years yesterday, said, ‘He has stood for the cause of many and equally maintained a veritable balance in the polity while also boosting the future of our Party, PDP and the Forum.

“We pray that the Almighty Father grant him good health, more foresight and grace to lead his people, as they at home and abroad, join him in today’s celebration”, the PDP-GF said.

Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, CFR, the Governor of Sokoto State and other PDP Governors felicitate our Forum’s Vice Chairman, His Excellency, Okezie Ikpeazu Ph.D the Governor of Abia State, as he turns 58 years old today (yesterday).

“We give gratitude to the Almighty God for the unreserved love and care in his life, and for the wisdom in his public life where he has rendered dedicated service to Abia State for collective development and prosperity and the country in general.

“The Forum joins his family and friends and indeed all Abia citizens to celebrate this intellectual on this special day for being a man of vision who has redefined the educational and social delivery dynamics of governance.

“As the Governor of Abia State in the past seven years, he has brought his vast experience in human resource management and reorientation to build a vibrant workforce to redevelop Abia State”, the Forum maintained.
