Judiciary is pillar of democracy — AA Chair

The National Chairman of the Action  Alliance Party, Hon Adekunle Rufai Omoaje has described the judiciary as the pillar of democracy in Nigeria.

He asserted to this in a statement made  available to the media in Kaduna yesterday.

Omoaje who was reacting to an Abuja division of the Court of Appeal  judgment that confirmed him as  the authentic national chairman of the Action  Alliance Party, said the judgment is a landmark victory for the rule of law and democracy.

He said judgment delivered by Justice A.B Mohammed  has put an end to claims by one Kenneth Udeze, who is said to have been expelled from the party, that he is the national chairman.

He warned members of the party and the general public not to have anything to do with Udeze on behalf of the Action Alliance.
