FCT: Chukunku Village Head tunbans 10 tribal chiefs

The Village Head of Chukunku in Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Jibril Sarki, has turbaned ten tribal chiefs in the area.

Some of the names of the tribal chiefs turbaned in Chukunku on Saturday are Igwe Okoro Chukwu; Chief of Igbo, Mallam Alhassan Taheed Isah Gupa; Etsu of Ganagana and Mallam Usamn Aliyu Gbete, Wakili of Nupawa Chukunku among others.

The secretary to the village Head of Chukunku, Mr. Mohammed Tsuabaza who spoke on behalf of the traditional ruler, said the tribal chiefs were tunbaned for the sake of peaceful co-existence in the community.

In an interview after the occasion, chief of Igbo in Chukunku, Igwe Okoro Chukwu, said he would continue to cooperate with the Village Head of Chukunku for the overall development of the community.
