The Hydro Power Producing Areas Development Commission (HYPPADEC) has awarded over 1.6 billion naira contact for the rehabilitation of Yauri water works in Kebbi state.
This was disclosed yesterday by the Managing Director of the Commission, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Yelwa while handling over the contract notes to the contractors in Yauri.
Yelwa said that the contract was awarded to 12 contractors in order for them to complete the works at the stipulated time.
