Date:

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Gombe State chapter has raised concerns over an alleged plans by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state to clone its gubernatorial candidate, Mohammed Jibrin Barde’s voice.

In a statement shared with newsmen on Saturday by Deputy Director General Media Atiku/Danbarde Campaign Management Council Gombe State ,Malam Junaidu Usman Abubakar said clone voice is way to defame his good reputation as a way of de-marketing his political chances in the forthcoming election.

Malam Junaidu said “We have it on credible information that they are trying to clone his voice to frame him by making it seem he is abusing the emirs and religious leaders in Gombe State.

“We want to state clearly that this is untypical of PDP in the state as our party has utmost regard for our tradition and religious leaders and institutions.”

He noted that abusing Emirs and religious leaders are typical characteristics of APC; knowing that they have failed, they have now resolved to attempts to cheaply blackmail our candidate whose popularity has grown beyond APC’s expectations.

According to him,”Mohammed Jibrin Barde has proven practically beyond any reasonable doubt that he will never use political thugs to achieve his dream of becoming a Governor in Gombe State in as much as he will not use his own biological son for political thuggery.
