Niger state government have commended the GIZ – SEDIN for its activities in the state which has tremendously impacted positively in various sectors of development and the lives of the people in the state.
The Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim Matane made the declaration during a one day validation workshop on the State NSME Policy and Strategic Implementation Plan held in Minna.
The workshop was organized by the Niger State SME and Micro Finance Agency with Support from PRO Poor Growth and Promotion of Employment in Nigeria Programme (GIZ -SEDIN).
Ibrahim Matane said validation policy plan implementation especially as it concerned SMEs is crucial and will go a long way in addressing socio economic development of the state.
The Niger state Coordinator of GIZ, Bello Dantoro stated that the idea of policy validation is to domesticate SMEs policy to enhance private sector development in the state to boost the economy devoid of depending on the federal statutory allocation.
