Following the incessant fuel and Naira scarcity across the country, the Arewa Youth Assembly has called for the immediate suspension of the 2023 general elections to enable Nigerians, especially menial workers from Northern region who are littered all over the country in search of greener pastures to return to where they registered to vote.
The Speaker, Assembly Mohammed Salihu Danlami stated this in a statement made available to the media in Kaduna yesterday.
The statement stated that the fuel and Naira scarcity has defied all known solutions proffered by the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Committee on fuel scarcity and the recommendations by the National Council of State.
