The FCT minister Sen. Bala Mohammed has tasked northern youths to be law-abiding and as well ensure that peace reigns in the region even as they support President Jonathan’s administration.
The Minister stated this yesterday to the ‘Northern Youth Group for Jonathan 2015’, who paid him a condolence visit over the death of his mother Hajiya Aishatu Mohammed.
Bala said that the youths are the watchdog of the society and therefore, need to be pro-active in the society and also do everything to ensure that peace reigns, not only in the northern region, but to the entire country.
He explained that the youths should work hard in order to contribute to the socio-economic growth of the region and not to allow themselves to be used by any politicians for chaos, adding that they should continue to support the Jonathan-led administration, which is bent on bringing development to the northern region.
Earlier, the president of the group, Alhaji Dantani DioZuru said the group loved his visionary style of leadership and encourage him to continue in his good work ,adding that they group were deeply touched by the dearth of his mother and asked God to grant him the fortitude to bear the loss.
