Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello has congratulated the Governor-elect, Mohammed Umar Bago on his victory at the just concluded Governorship and State Assembly elections held in the state.
Governor Sani Bello in a statement described the victory of Bago as a victory for a stronger Niger.
The Governor applauded the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for a successful exercise, acknowledging that despite the few flaws recorded in the entire process, there were many positives in the 2023 general elections in its entirety.
He called on the governor-elect to extend hands of fellowship to those that contested with him and ensure that he operates an open door policy as he has been elected to serve everyone.
