The Adamawa state working committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has accused the opposition party, the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, of causing crisis in its fold ahead of the supplementry governorship election.
State Secretary of the party, Dr. Raymond Chidama made known the allegation at a press briefing to counter a purported suspension of SGF, Boss Mustapha by his ward executives, saying it was the handiwork of the opposition with a view to further destabilize the party.
Chidama exonerated SGF for any wrong doing, stressing that any group hiding under the auspices of party whom are sponsored by the opposition will certainly meet the wrath of the party.
“We hereby state clearly that such suspension is unconstitutional, null and void and of no effect.
“Meanwhile, local government executive committee, Yola-North is hereby directed to constitute a disciplinary committee immediately and recommend appropriate action “.
